Steps to install Master PDF editor on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Linux
1. Download the Master PDF Linux
Open the browser and visit the official download page of Master PDF for Linux given on the website of Code Editor. Then go to the Debian binary of Master PDF Editor Linux and click on the one that is available for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Linux.
2. Open a command terminal
Now, go to Applications and open the command terminal. You can use Ctrl+Alt+T. As we know whatever we get from the browser goes into the Downloads directory thus we switch to that.
cd Downloads
to check the available file use:
ls
3. Install Master PDF editor on Ubuntu 22.04
We have the Debian file of this PDF editor in the Downloads directory and after switching into it, simply run the below command to install it.
sudo apt install ./master-pdf-editor*.deb
4. Run the Editor Program
Once the installation is completed, go to Show Applications and search for Master PDF. As you get its icon in the searches result click the same to run the PDF editor program.
5. How to update
As we have not installed the application using the system or any third-party repository, hence to update it we have to download its Debian binary every time when some new version will be available, as we did in this article.
6. Uninstall or Remove Master PDF
If you didn’t like the Master PDF working and want to remove this software completely from your system then here is the way to do that.
sudo apt remove --purge master-pdf-editor-5
Note: While doing this article, the version of Master PDF was 5, hence we have mentioned that in the above command. In the same way, check your version and use that.
